Assorted Banana ice creams โ„๐ŸŒโ €

These were an absolute hit in our household! This snack/dessert is ridiculously easy and fun to make. A great one to get kids involved with. โ €

Materials: Icy pole sticks! โ €

โ €

Ingredients: โ €

๐ŸŒ 3 x bananas โ €

๐ŸŒ 1/4 C chocolate buttons (dark, milk, vg) โ €

๐ŸŒ 1/4 C peanut butter โ €

๐ŸŒ 1 Tbsp shredded coconut โ €

๐ŸŒ 1 Tbsp flaked almondsโ €

๐ŸŒ Tsp raisins/sultanas - optionalโ €

Method: โ €

1. Peel and cut bananas in half. Place icy pole stick in the base until approx half way. Be careful not to pierce a whole to the other side. โ €

2. Place bananas in a container and freeze for 4 hours or over night. Avoid placing on top of one another. โ €

โ €

3. Chocolate buttons- use a small pot fill half way with water until simmering. Place a glass bowl to sit in the top of the pot. On a low heat begin to add the chocolate buttons and gently stir until melted. Turn off heat, leave bowl in the pot to avoid chocolate hardening.โ €

4. Prepare extra toppings, set out on plates ready to roll bananas. โ €

5. Using a spoon, cover one banana in chocolate and quickly roll in coconut or almonds. Chocolate hardens due to the frozen banana so you need to be focused ๐Ÿ˜‚. Repeat with desired toppings. โ €

6. Peanut butter - microwave in 2x 20 second intervals and stir in between to avoid burning or drying. โ €

7. Once melted, cover banana and quickly roll in toppings or drizzle chocolate over the top. โ €

8. Place back in freezer for a few minutes to set. โ €

9. Enjoy!โ €
