Chocolate hazelnut bliss balls
Ingredients:
6 pitted medjool dates ⠀
1/4 C boiling water⠀
100g lightly roasted hazelnuts ⠀
1 Tbsp desiccated coconut ⠀
1 Tbsp peanut butter ⠀
1 Tbsp maple syrup⠀
2 tsp cocoa powder⠀
1 tsp vanilla bean paste ⠀

Extra coconut and/or crushed hazelnut for rolling. ⠀

Method: ⠀
⠀
1. Chop dates in half, soak in boiling water.⠀
2. Place hazelnuts into food processor until finely chopped. Or place in a zip lock bag and crush with a rolling pin. ⠀
3. Add coconut, PB, maple, vanilla bean paste + dates including water to the food processor. Or combine well in a bowl. Until forming a dough like consistency. Adding slightly more water if required.⠀
4. Take one heaped tsp of mixture, roll into a ball using hands! ⠀
5. Dip in coconut/crushed hazelnuts. ⠀
Tip: If doubling the recipe - freeze for storage. Take out and leave to defrost at room temp for a few minutes. ❄
